PATIENT NOTICE – DISPENSARY DELIVERY SERVICE

We have been reviewing our delivery service over the last few weeks, and made the decision to make some changes.

THE ELMS RESIDENTS – in September your deliveries will be changing to Wednesdays. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, however feel there are too many deliveries to fit in to one afternoon, and want to ensure we provide the most efficient service possible to all patients.

Initially we won’t be able to provide delivery times, but we will be devising a route that we will stick to each week, that will help to give an idea of time. We will provide this list in hand outs, as well as leaving a notice at your reception area.

TORSKEY VILLAGE AND OUTSKIRTS RESIDENTS – your deliveries will continue to come on Thursday mornings.

ORDERING - will remain the same for all deliveries– please ensure you have your medication order placed by 2pm the Friday before

This is very much a new service to us that we put in place due to the volume of requests we had from patients. Please bear with us while we work to make it as efficient as possible, we are grateful for your support this far.

We do appreciate feedback; however please refrain from being rude to the dispensary staff. We have all worked extremely hard during this pandemic, working very long hours to ensure patients receive their medication. Despite facing issues with sourcing many items of stock from suppliers, and working with significantly reduced staff, we have strived to put patient service and safety first at all times.

If anyone would like to discuss anything further please call the surgery. Leave your name and number with reception, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
