                                                               Welcome to Trent Valley Surgery

We are now operating a total triage system due to the current Coronavirus outbreak and have changed the way we make appointments. Please click here for more information.

We would like to say a massive thank all of our patients for their understanding and continuing support through this difficult time.

Please find us on Facebook @Trentvalleysurgery and follow us this is where we share important information about services, campaigns and general updates.

Surgery Announcement

Dr Uchenna Anugwa has joined the team at Trent Valley Surgery as a Salaried GP.  He started with us on Monday 8th February and will be working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, both at Saxilby and Torksey.  He will be performing telephone, video and face to face consultations in the same way as Dr Nagappa and the Advanced Nurse Practitioners.

We have now invited all patients OVER the age of 70, patients in the clinically extremely vulnerable category and vaccinated all our care home patients. If you are over the age of 70 or in the clinically extremely vulnerable category (shielding) and you have not received an invitation for any reason please contact the surgery as soon as possible and we will book you an appointment. Please also be aware the mass vaccination centres such as the Lincolnshire showground, are also inviting patients via letter and you can have your vaccination there rather than wait for our vaccine allocation dates. This is completely your choice.
We now hold a clinic every Friday at John Coupland Hospital to vaccinate our patients. We will invite you as soon as we know we have information on number of vaccines and a vaccine delivery date. We understand the urgency everyone feels in receiving the vaccine although we need to ask for your support in not ringing the surgery and await a call from us as this will cause the reception staff to become overwhelmed.  Please be assured as soon as you can have a vaccine allocated to you we will get you booked in via telephone so it is very important to ensure your telephone numbers are up to date. You can change this online, sending us an email or via phone.
Members of staff from the surgery will be needed at the vaccination hub which means you may experience changes within the surgery but we will do our upmost to ensure services run as normal under the circumstances.
This has been such a difficult time for all and we are very excited to be delivering the vaccine to our patients.
In the meantime stay safe, follow the guidance and once again thankyou for your patience and understanding.
