Coronavirus Information

Covid Vaccine

We have now invited all patients OVER the age of 50. We will soon be initiating invitations for 2nd vaccines. Please bear with us and we will contact you as soon as we can book, they will of course be given in order of receiving 1st vaccinations.

We will invite you as soon as we know we have information on number of vaccines and a vaccine delivery date. We understand the urgency everyone feels in receiving the vaccine although we need to ask for your support in not ringing the surgery and await a call from us as this will cause the reception staff to become overwhelmed.  Please be assured as soon as you can have a vaccine allocated to you we will get you booked in via text invite (you can choose your own time slot via a link) or telephone so it is very important to ensure your telephone numbers are up to date. You can change this online, sending us an email or via phone.

Members of staff from the surgery will be needed at the vaccination hub which means you may experience smaller staff numbers within the surgery on them days but we will do our upmost to ensure services run as normal under the circumstances.

This has been such a difficult time for all and we are very excited to be delivering the vaccine to our patients.

In the meantime stay safe, follow the guidance and once again thank you for your patience and understanding.

At The Surgery

Any patients requiring a face to face appointment will be triaged and screened via telephone usually in the morning. If a face to face appointment is necessary this will be arranged for the afternoon.

Video Consultations

We are now offering video consultations at the doctors discretion, initially we were using Qdoctor but found it to be slightly tricky to navigate. We are now using accuRx, to join a video consultation all you need to do it click a link which will be sent via text message. To find out more information on how to do this please click here.

eConsultation

We are now also offering eConsultations. You can use eConsult to request GP advice without the need for an appointment. You can ask us about your health symptoms, conditions or possible treatments. You can even request things like sick notes and fill in our long term condition reviews such as asthma and hypertension. You will need to complete a simple form about your problem or request, your GP will then decide on the best treatment for you, the practice will then respond with advice, a prescription or an appointment. To fill out an eConsult form click HERE.
